Mars in Virgo

With Mars in Virgo, you act with method, precision and a real feel for efficiency. Your energy goes into doing the job well, and you would rather patiently improve a system than tear it all down.

You turn up with a list, a plan and the right tools, and finish the job while others are still psyching themselves up. Mars in Virgo channels energy into detail and technique. You are efficient and meticulous, able to keep up long, steady effort without seeking the spotlight. You like learning a craft, perfecting a movement, helping in concrete ways. Your desire is discreet and attentive, often expressed through the care you take of the other person. The sore spot is criticism. Your irritation takes the form of precise remarks about what was done badly, and people close to you can experience them as constant reproach. You may also wear yourself out trying to control everything, redoing other people’s work instead of delegating, or worrying over the smallest mistake. Anger, in you, tends to turn into nervous tension in the body. One idea worth keeping in mind: a job done ninety per cent well by someone else beats one you do alone until you are exhausted.
