Mars in Capricorn

With Mars in Capricorn, its sign of exaltation, you act with discipline, ambition and remarkable command of your energy. You can set a distant goal and reach it step by step, without scattering yourself.

You get up at six to work on your project before your job, and you keep it up for months without anyone knowing. Mars is exalted in Capricorn: energy finds its most controlled and effective form here. You don’t waste your strength, you invest it. You have a sense of strategy and the long term, and stamina that impresses. Obstacles don’t discourage you, they make you plan better. Your desire is serious and steady, sometimes held back, but very dependable. The price of that control is hardness. You can be as demanding of others as of yourself, judge harshly those who don’t work at your pace, or sacrifice your health and relationships to your goals. Your anger is cold and controlled and can turn into icy distance. You may also treat the people close to you as a team to manage rather than people to be with. Your ambition becomes more human when you let others move at their own pace and count rest among the serious things.
