Mercury in Virgo

With Mercury in Virgo, a sign of both rulership and exaltation, your mind is precise, analytical and methodical. You think in detail, sort and check, and you can turn a vague idea into a clear procedure.

You read the terms and conditions, notice the misplaced comma on the restaurant menu, and know where every important document in the house is filed. Mercury in Virgo is at home and at its best: thought sorts, orders and improves. You learn by breaking things down step by step, and you really understand something once you could explain it to someone else. Your speech is clear and often useful, and your advice is practical. At work, you catch the mistake before it gets expensive. The trap is a mind that never stops analysing. You can lose the bigger picture while fixing details, delay a decision for fear of missing one variable, or worry about very unlikely scenarios. Your remarks, even accurate ones, can sound like criticism if they arrive without a warm word. A good rule for you: save precision for what really matters, and let the rest be simply good enough.
