Mercury in Taurus

With Mercury in Taurus, you think slowly but solidly. You learn through concrete examples and repetition, you speak with weight, and once an idea has settled in your mind, it takes a lot to shift it.

Someone explains something new, you nod, and three days later you come back with a question that shows you understood it all, better than anyone. Mercury in Taurus takes its time. You learn with your hands, through examples, through things you can touch and check, and what you know, you know for good. Your speech is measured and often pleasant to listen to, and you have real practical sense: you see straight away what an idea will cost and whether it will hold. People trust you with decisions that have long-term consequences. The trap is stubbornness. Once your mind is made up, you may refuse to hear counter-arguments, or repeat the same position without letting it evolve. Last-minute changes and plans that keep shifting irritate you deeply. Quicker minds can mistake you for slow, when you are simply digesting. Revisiting a certainty now and then doesn’t destroy it: often it makes it stronger.
