Uranus in Sagittarius

Uranus in Sagittarius marks a generation that pushes borders open, from travel to beliefs to education. In an individual chart, it brings free thinking, a thirst for elsewhere and an allergy to dogma, religious or otherwise.

Uranus in Sagittarius wants to see further. The generation that carries it travels, compares beliefs, borrows from other people’s traditions, and happily builds its own philosophy from many sources, a bit of Eastern wisdom here, a scientific reading there. It distrusts imposed truths and believes in learning outside institutions: it would rather argue with the teacher than recite the lesson. Personally, this placement often gives an explorer’s mind: a move abroad decided on a whim, studies switched halfway through, a sudden conversion to an idea that surprises the people around you, and then to another. You need meaning, but meaning you found yourself. Sermons, from whichever side, send you running. The flip side would be letting freedom of thought turn into a refusal to commit to anything: if you keep searching forever, you can forget to settle anywhere. Your gift is widening other people’s horizons and reminding them there’s always another point of view.
